State College Based 'Printers' Complete Move To New Facility, Install New Presses

STATE COLLEGE, PA -- K-B Offset Printing, Inc. and theprinters.com are now operating from the former Corning-Asahi Video Plant in College Township, State College, Pennsylvania.

This 55,000-square foot facility provides nearly twice the office and manufacturing space as their former plant. "The move to the new location was the ideal opportunity to increase capacity and expand our production capabilities." affirmed Raymond J. Caravan, Jr., President of K-B Offset Printing and Chairman of theprinters.com, citing the addition of two new printing presses.

The presses, Heidelberg Speedmasters, allow for faster and more efficient full-color printing for a wide variety of print jobs. They compliment the already advanced digital technology systems in place at KB Offset and theprinters.com for design, pre-press, bindery, print-on-demand, fulfillment and complete mailing services.

Collectively, the two companies currently employ 70 people in their State College facility and anticipate new jobs and increased employment as the plant approaches optimal capacity. There will also be a phasing-in of environmentally-friendly production practices with expanded use of recycled materials for 'greener' printing.

The Printers.com was twice-named to Inc. magazine's Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S.

The new address is 3500 East College Avenue, State College, PA 16801. The phone numbers will remain the same: (814) 237-7600 and (800) 359-2097. The websites are kboffset.com and theprinters.com.
